Do all insurance companies have the same deductible amount? If not, what is the highest amount for an insurance deductible?
The highest amount for a deductible would depend on the insurance company. Most companies would offer some of the 'standard' deductible levels, such as $500, $1000, $1500 and $2000, depending on the type of policy that you are purchasing. I have heard of people that went as high as $5000 for a homeowner's insurance deductible and have saved a good amount of money on their premiums as a result. But it really depends on your insurance company and your ability to handle the extra risk that comes with a higher deductible.
