Insurance for Home Tractors

I am purchasing a 2003 Kubota L35 tractor; my bank wants coverage on the unit while the loan is active. I'm having trouble finding coverage. It is not for agricultural use. It is for general home chores such as plowing snow and landscaping.

Answer:

Is there any reason that an agricultural policy won't work for you? It should cover what you need to cover (such as plowing and landscaping), so unless you have a difficulty with the cost of premiums or some other condition of the agricultural policy, I'd look into it. Also, people who live in the country (but don't farm) may get policies on farm-type equipment that they use on their properties. You can often get a policy from a farm insurance company that will cover just what you want it to.
