Back-Dated Insurance
Do any of the insurance companies provide insurance for a specific time that has already passed? For instance, if your homeowners insurance lapsed for 2 months and insurance is needed (because the mortgage company's coverage is astronomically expensive) can insurance be purchased for a few months back to provide proof to a mortgage company that insurance was in place? Please let me know if any insurance companies provide this service to the public.
