What company now owns Life Of Virginia policies?

I couldn't find anything online that would give me a trace to Life of Virginia. I even contacted the Department of Insurance for Virginia, and didn't get an answer back. So, I was stumped.
A reader suggested in a comment to another post that Genworth Insurance may have bought out Life of Virginia. It's the best lead I have and worth following up. The telephone number for Genworth is 800-628-2238.
