I can't direct you to any company in particular; I'm not currently aware of positions for medical personnel. However, I can tell you that every insurer that deals with medically-related insurance claims will have some medical people on staff in order to review those claims. In many cases, these reviewers would be doctors, but in some cases (if they are less complex or do not involve complicated medical files) other non-physician reviewers could be involved. This is where I would see a potential for a skilled nurse or nurse practitioner.
It is also possible to find nurses at work in such places as a workers compensation program. Again, the work would be primarily to review and manage claims. I would see nurses as a good fit here, given that some claims need good professional medical oversight but are much less medically complicated.
